Scripture 4 Today

Psalm 133:1-2 AMPLIFIED BIBLE

BEHOLD, HOW good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!  It is like the precious ointment poured on the head, that ran down on the beard, even the beard of Aaron [the first high priest], that came down upon the collar and skirts of his garments [consecrating the whole body].
Thought  4 Today

The blessings of God are on a people who live together in solidarity. This applies to a family, a business, a church, a city, or a nation. Division kills! In American we love to tout our ability to disagree, but in the Kingdom of God disagreement is an enemy.

The Scripture above teaches us that unity, harmony, and agreement bring the anointing of God! Unity has the same effect as the precious anointing oil that was poured on Aaron's head. When any liquid is on your head, it runs down to your face, and if enough has been poured on you it runs down to your neck, shoulders, chest, arms, and legs. The principle is significant. The head of the family is the husband and father. The head of the local church is the pastor. The head of the team is the coach. The head of the company is the CEO. Etc. When unity exists among the family, the church, the team, the company, etc. the anointing, blessing, and gifting of God that is on the head person flows down upon all the people under his or her authority. Disunity stops the advancement of the anointing and its blessings!

Let's get in agreement with one another so that the anointing can come upon all of us. It's the anointing that breaks the yoke, the yoke that you might be fighting this very day.

A Prayer To Receive Jesus Christ As Your Lord

JesusRomans 10:9 NLT:  "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Jesus becomes the Lord of your life by your own personal invitation and declaration, and by believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.

PRAYER:  "Jesus, I invite you to be my personal Lord and Savior.  I believe You died for my sins and that God has raised You from the dead.  This very moment I declare aloud with my own mouth that You are Lord of my life!  Thank you for Your forgiveness and your unconditional love.  Jesus, you are the Son of God!  From this moment forward I determine to live for You because You died for me.  I surrender myself to God.  I am now Yours.  Thank you for saving me and making me a brand new person deep within my heart.  Thank You for this new beginning and the assurance of heaven being my eternal home.  I love You, Lord Jesus, because You first loved me!  Amen."
