What kind of a heart doesn't want Jesus around? What kind of a human being begs Jesus to leave? What kind of city goes out in mass numbers to tell Jesus to get out of town? What kind of a church keeps Jesus on the outside and won't open the door to Him when He knocks? When Jesus approaches an individual what kind of person says, "I don't want you."
 
Think about this, when the town asked Jesus to leave they asked Love to leave. When they told Jesus to depart, they told Mercy to depart. When they told Jesus to get out, they told Grace, Healing, and Deliverance, to get out. When they told Jesus to go away, they told Goodness to go away. When they told Jesus to disappear, they told Life to disappear. Who in their right mind, doesn't want and need love, mercy, grace, healing, deliverance, goodness, and life?
 
Think about all of the people who reject Jesus and all that He is, and then go and try to find life, joy, goodness, peace, etc. in a bar or with some type of drug or sin. Deception is the number one tool of the enemy!
 
But, there is good news, and it is this: John 1:12 (AMPLIFIED BIBLE) - "But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name."
