Psalm 124:1-5 Amplified Bible
"If it had not been the Lord
Who was on our side-now may Israel say-If it had not been the Lord Who
was on our
side when men rose up against us. Then they would have quickly swallowed
us up
alive when their wrath was kindled against us. Then the waters would
have
overwhelmed us and swept us away, the torrent would have gone over us;
Then the
proud waters would have gone over us."

The proof that God has been
and is on your side is that you are a survivor! You have been though the floods
of trouble and pain and have come out on the other side. You're still alive.
You're still breathing. You outlived your trouble and your pain. One way to
defeat trouble is to out live it. Trouble and pain both have a life span. They
don't live forever. You can live longer than your trouble and pain. It will die
off, and you will live on. God is on your side! He did not send the trouble or
pain, but He has strengthened and girded you so that you have outlasted it! You
win! Trouble and pain lose!
You are a survivor! The
Bible has another word that it uses for a survivor. That word is, "Overcomer!"
There is no such thing as an overcomer unless there is something to overcome!
God has graced you and made
you to live and not die. It's not your time to die! You are destined to live!
Dying is the easy way out. God needs you to live! Anyone can die, but only overcomers
live! God is not through with you yet!

| A Prayer To Receive Jesus Christ As Your Lord |
 Romans 10:9 NLT: "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Jesus becomes the Lord of your life by your own personal invitation and declaration, and by believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
PRAYER: "Jesus, I invite you to be my personal Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and that God has raised You from the dead. This very moment I declare aloud with my own mouth that You are Lord of my life! Thank you for Your forgiveness and your unconditional love. Jesus, you are the Son of God! From this moment forward I determine to live for You because You died for me. I surrender myself to God. I am now Yours. Thank you for saving me and making me a brand new person deep within my heart. Thank You for this new beginning and the assurance of heaven being my eternal home. I love You, Lord Jesus, because You first loved me! Amen." |
