Psalm 121

the hills [around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah]
-From
whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven
and
earth."

| Thought 4 Today |
Every human being needs help
every day. Some don't like to admit that, thinking that such an admittance is a
sign of weakness. To the contrary, such admittance is not only a sign of
strength but also a sign of wisdom. It is the fool who thinks that he doesn't
require any help and that he has all that he needs within himself. I am not
ashamed to say that every day, every hour, and every minute, I need help. To what or to whom are we
looking for our help? The Psalmist identifies clearly Who our true Helper is.
He is the Lord! The same Lord who made the heaven and earth! It is true that many times help
comes to us through man, but we must remember that man is the intermediary
through whom our help comes, but man is never the source of our help. God
touches people's hearts and by His divine grace they render assistance and good
will to their fellow man. I am always grateful to those who deliver the grace
of God to us because in them God found a heart that would work with Him.
However, it was God who touched their heart and imparted his Divine grace and
made them a partner in His love and endeavor to bring help to a person who
needed it. God is always moving and
working to help you and He will do so as long as you live on this earth. Rejoice
O child of God, for God's got your back! He is your help, today and forever!

| A Prayer To Receive Jesus Christ As Your Lord |
Romans 10:9 NLT: "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Jesus becomes the Lord of your life by your own personal invitation and declaration, and by believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
PRAYER: "Jesus, I invite you to be my personal Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and that God has raised You from the dead. This very moment I declare aloud with my own mouth that You are Lord of my life! Thank you for Your forgiveness and your unconditional love. Jesus, you are the Son of God! From this moment forward I determine to live for You because You died for me. I surrender myself to God. I am now Yours. Thank you for saving me and making me a brand new person deep within my heart. Thank You for this new beginning and the assurance of heaven being my eternal home. I love You, Lord Jesus, because You first loved me! Amen." |
