Do you realize that what causes you to be afraid or worry is that you care about someone or something? If we didn't care we would never fear or be concerned. Satan knows this and attacks us about the people or things that we care about. We are never attacked about things we don't care about. Think about it!
 
Now we are always going to care about your families and friends, and about many other things in life. But there is a difference between caring and trusting God. Many times we carry around a load of care. That's not what we are called to do as children of God. We are to place our every care upon His Person. When we do that we enter into a realm of rest, since everything is riding upon His Person. That's what faith really is - trusting Him with the people and things that we love the most. When we experience that true trust, anxiety and worry leaves. But beware! Satan always tries to bring it back, and he will be successful if you sign for the package of care when he attempts to deliver it.
 
Caring is great, but it's not trusting. Trusting God is a higher realm than caring. So let's put all of our cares upon His Person. He is ever strong and faithful!
