| Thought 4 Today |
Corrie ten Boom, a devoted
Dutch Christian, and Auschwitz concentration camp survivor, identified the
secret place of Psalm 91 as the will of God. More precisely, she said that a
person who was in the will of God was in the secret place of the Most High, and
qualified for the promises of Psalm 91. Corrie knew what it was like to live in a
perilous world. Even in Auschwitz, with all of it's daily horrors and death,
she found solace and courage in the knowledge that she was in God's will. Today with all of the
dangers in our world, being in the will of God is still our safe place. There
is no safer place than being in His will. There is no better place than being
in His will. Being in God's will is the highest place, healthiest place, and
most prosperous place for any individual. Satan was able to talk Adam
and Eve out of God's will - the Garden of Eden. If Satan talks you out of God's
will, then he is pushing you out of God's safety. Satan has a reason for
wanting to get you out of the secret place. Remember, no matter what
happens in the world, be it wars; financial depression, or political upheaval,
the will of God is still your hiding place! Here's remembering you
Corrie!

| A Prayer To Receive Jesus Christ As Your Lord |
Romans 10:9 NLT: "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Jesus becomes the Lord of your life by your own personal invitation and declaration, and by believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
PRAYER: "Jesus, I invite you to be my personal Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and that God has raised You from the dead. This very moment I declare aloud with my own mouth that You are Lord of my life! Thank you for Your forgiveness and your unconditional love. Jesus, you are the Son of God! From this moment forward I determine to live for You because You died for me. I surrender myself to God. I am now Yours. Thank you for saving me and making me a brand new person deep within my heart. Thank You for this new beginning and the assurance of heaven being my eternal home. I love You, Lord Jesus, because You first loved me! Amen." |
