Change your views! How
powerful and life changing that little statement is! Most people don't want to
change their views. They are deeply committed to their views. But, do you
realize that your views, opinions, beliefs, and convictions either propel you
forward or they imprison you and hold you back. It's possible that the biggest
problem you face; the biggest thing keeping you from success, is a certain and
specific deep-seated opinion that you will not change. Perhaps it's an opinion
about yourself. It could be a belief that you hold about another person. Your
view of your present situation may be hindering your forward progress. Most of us hold to our views
as though they were infallible. But if your views are faulty then your views may be sabotaging your whole life! In Scripture, the first word
that came out of Jesus' mouth when He preached, was, "Repent." In other words
Jesus said, "Change your mind and your views about Me." In order to be saved every
one of us has had to change our minds and views about Jesus - who He is, and what
He did. As we study the Word of God
our lives are one of constant and continual repentance - that is we change our
minds and views regularly as we find out what His views and opinions are as
expressed in His Word. Don't be afraid to give up
some old thinking and opinions. It is a sign that you are growing and maturing.
Put your views on His altar and desire to have the mind of Christ!

| A Prayer To Receive Jesus Christ As Your Lord |
Romans 10:9 NLT: "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Jesus becomes the Lord of your life by your own personal invitation and declaration, and by believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
PRAYER: "Jesus, I invite you to be my personal Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and that God has raised You from the dead. This very moment I declare aloud with my own mouth that You are Lord of my life! Thank you for Your forgiveness and your unconditional love. Jesus, you are the Son of God! From this moment forward I determine to live for You because You died for me. I surrender myself to God. I am now Yours. Thank you for saving me and making me a brand new person deep within my heart. Thank You for this new beginning and the assurance of heaven being my eternal home. I love You, Lord Jesus, because You first loved me! Amen." |
