| Thought 4 Today |
It is highly possible that
your belief about God is wrong! If you ask most people, even church people,
what God is like, they will tell you that God loves you but then they will go
on to tell you how He sends sickness, death, loss, and tragedy into our lives
in order to teach us or purify us.
Do you know where people got
those beliefs about God? They got them from the book of Job (and church).
But behold, One greater than
Job has come and has shown us the truth about what God is like. His Name is
Jesus!
How many times in Mathew,
Mark, Luke, or John did Jesus go around passing out sicknesses and diseases?
How many times did He kill a child? An adult? How many times did He send a
demon on a person? How many times is it recorded that He said, "No, I won't
heal you?" How many people did He spurn and turn away because, "Healing is not
for all"? How many people did He afflict with blindness, deafness, or any
illness because, "Sickness is a great teacher"? How many people did He make poor because, "Poverty is a blessing"? How
many times did He pray for trouble to come on someone?
My friend we need to upgrade
our image of God. We need to graduate from Job to Jesus! We need to change our
minds about what God is like!
Job is not the exact
likeness of God, Jesus is!!!

| A Prayer To Receive Jesus Christ As Your Lord |
 Romans 10:9 NLT: "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Jesus becomes the Lord of your life by your own personal invitation and declaration, and by believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
PRAYER: "Jesus, I invite you to be my personal Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and that God has raised You from the dead. This very moment I declare aloud with my own mouth that You are Lord of my life! Thank you for Your forgiveness and your unconditional love. Jesus, you are the Son of God! From this moment forward I determine to live for You because You died for me. I surrender myself to God. I am now Yours. Thank you for saving me and making me a brand new person deep within my heart. Thank You for this new beginning and the assurance of heaven being my eternal home. I love You, Lord Jesus, because You first loved me! Amen." |
