Faith! Wonderful faith! Wherever
there is faith, there is life! When faith is absent, life is absent. Faith
produces life!
I know that Jesus said,
"Have faith in God." (Mark 11:22) But that phrase leaves me bewildered. What exactly does it
mean to have faith in God?
I have learned that it is
much easier to have faith in God when you study or focus on the attributes of God.
Do you believe, truly
believe that God loves you no matter what is going on in your life today? Do you believe that God has the POWER, might,
and ability to do anything, even straighten out the troubles and relationships
in your life? Do you believe, in spite of what you see, that God has WISDOM far
greater than your own and that His wisdom is ordering your steps? Do you believe
that God is GOOD, and that He will daily and forever be good to you? Do you
believe that God treats you with kindness and mercy? Do you believe that God is
always faithful? Do you believe that He has forgiven you for every single sin?
If you believe these things
then you have faith in God.
Don't let your faith be
damaged by what people do to you, or by what life brings. Jesus didn't say to
have faith in people, or to have faith in life. He said, "Have faith in God!"
And, God is good, all the time, even when people and life aren't!

| A Prayer To Receive Jesus Christ As Your Lord |
 Romans 10:9 NLT: "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Jesus becomes the Lord of your life by your own personal invitation and declaration, and by believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
PRAYER: "Jesus, I invite you to be my personal Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and that God has raised You from the dead. This very moment I declare aloud with my own mouth that You are Lord of my life! Thank you for Your forgiveness and your unconditional love. Jesus, you are the Son of God! From this moment forward I determine to live for You because You died for me. I surrender myself to God. I am now Yours. Thank you for saving me and making me a brand new person deep within my heart. Thank You for this new beginning and the assurance of heaven being my eternal home. I love You, Lord Jesus, because You first loved me! Amen." |
