These are the words of the father to the prodigal son's elder brother, when the eldest complained about the party being thrown for his wayward brother.
The eldest was so caught up in his work, serving, and duty that he forgot to have fun! In essence the father said to him, "you could have had a party with a fatted calf anytime you wanted."
Since all that the Father has belongs to us, through the Lord Jesus, why not throw yourself a party today!!!!
