This interactive session will be presented by Robert J. Doolittle, PhD. Dr. Doolittle is a retired faculty member of the University of Tulsa Department of Communication where he taught courses such as persuasion, conflict management and political communication for more than 25 years. Dr. Doolittle will explain the five most common mistakes we make in communicating and how to avoid them. He will also respond to issues and concerns from participants. This workshop provides nonprofit managers, employees, and volunteers the basic knowledge needed to seek out grant funds. You will learn about the Foundation Center and the TCCL Cooperating Collection, learn the basics of the grant seeking process, and become familiar with the resources available to you for grant seeking.
