Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to identify the components of a successful grant request or proposal, locate and access potential grants that fit your proposed project, tailor grant requests to a funding source, and be aware of the resources available for grant seeking and writing at the Tulsa City-County Library Foundation Center. This workshop will speak to job seekers and to anyone looking to build their own personal brand and grow their ability to connect with others.
Our presenter, Russ Knight, is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at NorthStar Technologies. During his last job search, he received guidance from the First United Methodist Church Employment Transition Ministry. He went on to help found Overcoming Job Transitions, a monthly program for job seekers at Asbury United Methodist Church, and to help lead the effort at First United Methodist.
