| Q. DO I NEED A CONTRACT WITH MY LOCATIONS? | |
A.This is a common question concerning recent start up vending operators and new locations. If you are in the bulk gumball and bulk candy vending machines and small combo mechanical vending machines - probably no contract needed.
If you have Snack and Soda Full Size vending machines, our answer is yes... for the following reasons:
1) A contract "locks in" the location(s) for a certain amount of time. 1 year, 2 years, even 5 years, signed by location manager/owner.
2) We all know contracts can be broken. State the contract agreement - that if the contract is to be canceled due to (new owner, or no more room for the machines, or unhappy with service, etc.) The location manager must give 30 day notice. (this 30 days will give you time to find new locations).
3) A contract can be a simple one- two page agreement. That simply states Company Name, contact and addresses of locations. Your company name, contact, and detail what services you will be rendering, and how long the contract is valid.
Signatures of manager/owner and yourself.
PS: Vending machines take up space - to the location, this space is valuable. Tell location manager that Vending machines are valuable; to keep employees happy, and keeping a happier work environment makes good work production. Ask what products they would like to have in the vending machines.
PSS: If you must, pay the location a small commission on the profit and state that in the contract as well, (paid weekly or monthly or each time machines are serviced).

Big Buck World Takes Over New York City
Carlstadt, NJ - May 24, 2011 - On April 28th Play Mechanix, the industry leading developer of the smash arcade shooting series Big Buck Hunter held a round robin competition at the Black Bear Lodge in New York City. All were invited to challenge a few nationally ranked players on the bar's two Big Buck World shooting machines which enjoys a rabid following among trendy urbanites who most likely have never held a gun but wanted a shot at the title.
Using two realistic hunting rifles, players tried to see who could kill the most wildebeest or 14-point bucks to get the highest score. The competition was fierce and ranged from a young female vegan with a mohawk to a process server in Manhattan who shoots trap and skeet every weekend on Long Island. But in the end it was Andrew Chao, the process server who shot his way to the top and won the title.
Big Buck Hunter the industry leading top shooting video arcade game has found a large following of players in places like Texas and Minnesota. The game has also created a subculture in fast-paced New York City, but it is also building business everywhere across the country and even overseas. Most of the country's 18,000-plus coin-operated machines are connected to an online network where fans can compare scores and try to top the leaderboards in the monthly national tournaments.
The game has done a lot for locations, especially bars. It has a social appeal where you can challenge friends or other patrons while enjoying a few beverages, which might heighten the competitive factor. This is a perfect game for any location.
