The majority of people begin the year with resolutions that start out pretty strong, only to fizzle out shortly thereafter. Why not resolve to do something that is not only eternal but essential in everyday living! Nothing strengthens our faith more than spending time in the Lord's word and practicing it EVERYDAY. We teach our students that #1 priority is to put God first and the rest will work out according to His will. Not too complicated, right?
So, what sort of New Year's resolution should we as Christian's make? The same one's we guide and direct our students to do. Maybe we could all use a reminder...
1. Pray every day for wisdom (James 1:5)
2. Commit your ways to the Lord (Psalm 37:5-6)
3. Trust with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5)
4. Rely on God's strength to help you (Philippians 4:13)
Thanks to our partners, like you, we are able to serve our students and lead them to become "New Creatures" in Christ as in (2 Corinthians 5:17).
