This is the time when Christmas should have special meaning...Our eyes are filled with happy families buying gifts with plans to sit and open gifts under the Christmas tree. The malls are filled with songs of Jingle Bells and Dashing through the snow in a one horse open sleigh. Our churches are permeated with Silent Night and Away in a Manger.

I wish that I could say that was true for those families and individuals who are imprisoned by addiction; but it is not. For them, and their families, it is a time of depression, frustration, confusion, pain, loneliness and sometimes death. Our ministry continues to stay mission minded and like many nonprofits are experiencing the strain in this tough economic time. As this year comes to an end please include us in that "special" year-end giving, as we try to meet the needs of so many. 

As we approach the New Year, I want to let you know of some of the exciting changes and improvements as we are in development of our new "Beyond Recovery Training Model". It offers a four-phase/eight month training opportunity combined with church accountability partnership and community involvement.  It is a structure for a Christ-like model for living.  We have witnessed God's miracles in the lives that we are investing in and want to do more.  This training model will allow us to serve more people in the upstate and work closely with family members as well as individuals that are struggling with the life domination sin of addiction.

We want you to understand that your end of the year contribution is needed to make a difference.  The difference is almost a guarantee to help someone you are close to, a son, daughter, family member or even a friend.
