Forever Always I'm Trusting Him

Are You?

So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20

Have you ever woke up with that knot of fear right in the pit of your stomach followed with what if questions? At that moment if I'm not careful my mind quickly races with images of fear and impending doom.  It's at that time that I must choose to muster up everything that I can and remind myself of the great miracles in my past and what God has said in His word.  Been there done that?

"I recently woke up one morning dragging physically and mentally. My sugar was high and my mood was low, but not for long because >>READ MORE

Change a Heart, Change a life...

James

Seeking Something More

James McCluney has experienced a slow but sure process of transformation.
One directed by Christ and his deeper relationship with his savior.    He is living proof, and shares his story to witness to others.  It is a daily reminder for him as he continues to learn as a loving husband and a strong Godly influence in his sons lives.

James grew up under the guidance of his grandparents.  He remembers alcohol always being in the house.  Yet, his drug use did not begin until age sixteen. He began by smoking marijuana with fellow, teenage, basketball players. Still, his frequent drug use did not start until a few years after entering the military. On the weekends he would attend different parties where speed, acid, cocaine, and other drugs were set out for anyone to try.  He slowly experimented with all types >>READ FULL STORY

 .Plant a seed into eternity

The thoughts of my childhood and the days of being on a small farm in the rural area of South Carolina always comes to mind now that I'm getting older. How I miss those days working with my dad and learning the importance of getting the soil just right before we could plant. He always told me "if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing it right" and this couldn't apply any more than in planting a field. We worked hard and long hours cultivating the soil and making sure the seeds where planted just right. Then we nurtured and protected them from any harm for they were important to us as we had invested a lot in them.Planting seeds can have great rewards as long as we plant the right kind of seeds. Looking back I remember a man who did not plant good seeds. He planted seeds that caused heartache and despair and his family suffered >>READ MORE

WHEN FALLING FEELS LIKE FLYING
Sean Hamilton
Teacher/Counselor

For a little while, the air beneath me felt great. It was as if I was soaring at the speed of light. The wind roaring and rushing all around keeping me elevated. Or so I thought. All along I was rapidly descending.  But it was kind of hard for me to recognize the plunge towards "Rock Bottom" with my eyes closed.

Why is it that falling feels just like flying?  And why is it so hard to distinguish the difference between the two?

Join us Monday night's at 7 pm for "Wisdoms Keys" class as we discuss these topics and more!

winn and rhondaMemoirs from our Sweetheart's Banquet
everyone had a most memorable time!

It was great connecting with all the couples who have been committed to changing their lives and the Sweetheart's Banquet was a real heartwarming witness to that.  Couples were able to reflect on what is important in marriage and gained a deeper connection by going through exercises of memories as Tim Wiles our guest speaker so eloquently walked us through some important things to think about.  What an experience,  I think everyone would agree that it  was a perfect way to appreciate and connect with our spouse and how look forward to making future memories.

But that's not all...We were served a delicious dinner on glassware, and beautifully decorated table settings that added a aura of royalty and class making the guests the focus and purpose of the night.

We all played the Sweetheart Game as couples laughed about how much they still needed to learn about each other,  and others whose answers lined up to a tee...I will speak for all that attended;  no one wanted the night to end!

Thank you Rhonda for your great hospitality!
