 2010 Marks our 10 Year Anniversary !!!!

All of us at Wisdom In Living Life Ministry want to wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year!
 
As we glance back to our year in review, we are reminded of all the amazing things God has done through this ministry in 2009. Most importantly lives are being changed.  Families and people who have been hurting, confused, depressed and lonely are finding permanent freedom that can only be found in Christ and they are finding it through Wisdom In Living Life Ministry.
 
We think it is important to be able to share with you what your prayers,  gifts and support have done to further our mission in helping people become free from addiction to drugs and alcohol. 
 
Having God's provision and your support, these things were possible: 
  
·         Additional classes were added: Monday nights/Friday nights
·         We added  new staff members and an intern
·         We added 2 new board members
·         We provided educational presentations to several churches
·         2200 people seeking help came through our doors.
·         Biblical counseling became full-time and increased by 50%
·         Increased public awareness with e-news, tv, radio and newspaper
          ·         Revamped our website to reach more people
·         Clearing of land at the "Beyond Recovery Project" site

We look to you to refer people to us in your church, Sunday school classes and your Pastors.  Everyone goes to church somewhere and we want you to invite your Pastor to come and visit us on a Thursday night and realize we are a here for their congregation too! 
 
We are blessed to be a blessing, as we celebrate our 10 year anniversary and continue with your support and God's grace in 2010!

Well 2010 marks our 10 year Anniversary and for ten years Wisdom In Living Life Ministry has helped so many people and literally NEVER has anyone been turned away because of lack of funds.  On a daily basis we are there for the hurting families of those that are imprisoned by addiction and for those individuals that are seeking total freedom from their former lives in addiction.
 
What is our challenge? 
 
Glad you asked. 
 
We have to continue to trust that God's people will rise to the occasion to give to this ministry so that we can reach those seeking the only answer to freedom which is found in Jesus Christ.  We lead, we teach, and we watch God transform.

Farron's Fruits picThe New Year is upon us, and I'm sure there have been plenty of New Year resolutions made by many. There are some who would like to lose weight, others who want to stop a harmful habit, and those who just want to improve upon who they are as a person. Nevertheless, no matter what your goal is or the obstacle you are facing it can be achieved through the help of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Look at the new person that Paul became all because of his encounter with our Lord. Paul, who formerly was known as Saul, was a cold blooded murderer of Christians, and his life was so radically changed that he became one of the greatest missionaries of all times. He is also given credit for writing most of the New Testament in the Bible. Paul's transformation and his accomplishments will forever be remembered throughout history.
 
What can we gleam from the encounter Paul had with Christ that can help us be successful in 2010?
 
Here are 10 principles based upon  scripture to help make our resolutions a reality.
 
 10 PRINCIPLES OF CHANGE
 
  1. HUMILITY: Be humble and realize that we cannot overcome our obstacle without the help of Jesus Christ.
Our Example: Paul fell to the ground in a helpless defense mode when he was blinded on the road to Damascus. He was humbled by his helplessness and could not continue on his own.   Read More
