Announcing New Alumni Relations and Annual Fund Manager
I am excited to write you as Joliet
Junior College's new Alumni Relations and Annual Fund Manager. I look forward to meeting alumni and friends interested in reconnecting with the college. I am here to help you discover the importance of being a JJC alumnus, and I want you to know I am open to new ideas from you to help to engage, reconnect, and strengthen the relationship of alumni to the college.
There are many exciting things happening at JJC, and we want you to be a part of it. We have a NEW alumni Facebook page, so make sure you "like" it today to get important alumni updates. Remember, you can also find the JJC alumni group on LinkedIn.
Feel free to call or email me, as I would love to hear about your experience as a Joliet Junior College student and alum. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Melvin Cornelius began his career with the JJCPD 18 years ago as a patrol officer with high aspirations. Now JJCPD commander, he attributes his success to the degree he earned at JJC.
The JJC Library is now open on the second floor of the new Campus Center. It joins multiple student services offices that are now moved into the first floor of the building. These include:
· Admissions · Counseling/GSD · Dean of Student Success · Enrollment Management · Financial Aid · Registration & Records · Service Center
For questions, contact the Communications Office at (815) 280-2406.
In addition to the many physical changes taking place on the Main Campus, some buildings are in the process of being renamed to better help the campus community and visitors navigate the area.
New signage, which is a component of the master plan, will begin installation in the next few weeks to reflect the changes.
