MeckGOP PRECINCT MEETINGS, MeckGOP COUNTY CONVENTION & NCGOP CONVENTION

Who can participate?

  • ANY and EVERY Republican registered prior to January 31, 2011 is invited to participate in the MeckGOP Precinct Meetings on February 17, 2011.
  • Each Precinct will elect a slate of delegates to the MeckGOP County Convention.
  • The MeckGOP County Convention will elect a slate of delegates to the NCGOP Convention.

NOTE: If you simply attend each step of the way, you stand a VERY strong chance of being elected to the next round as a delegate.

When the MeckGOP Precinct Meetings, MeckGOP County Convention and NCGOP State Convention be held?

  • The MeckGOP Precinct Meetings will be held on February 17, 2011.
  • The MeckGOP County Convention will be held on March 19, 2011.
  • The NCGOP State Convention will held June 3-5, 2011.

Where will the MeckGOP Precinct Meetings, MeckGOP County Convention and NCGOP State Convention be held?

  • The MeckGOP Precinct Meetings will be held in 8 regional locations around Mecklenburg County. The specific location of YOUR precinct meeting can be determined by CLICKING HERE.
  • NOTE: In the event that you do NOT know what precinct you vote in, CLICK HERE to look up your Voter Registration File at the Board of Elections.
  • The MeckGOP County Convention will be held at Butler High School (tentative).
  • The NCGOP State Convention will held in Wilmington, NC.

I can't make it to the Precinct Meetings. Can I still be involved?

Why should I attend?

  • These MeckGOP Precinct Meetings are the first step of organizing our precincts for the 2011 and 2012 election cycle. If you want to beat Obama in Mecklenburg County in 2012, attending these MeckGOP Precinct Meetings and joining in the process of organizing with your Republican neighbors is the FIRST step toward victory. [BRING YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS!]
  • There are competitive races for leadership of the MeckGOP and NCGOP this Spring. If you would like to participate in that process of selecting the county and state Republican leaders for the next two years, you need to start by attending or submitting an absentee letter for the MeckGOP Precinct Meetings.

There are 170,000 Republicans in Mecklenburg County ... We need to be able to communicate with these friends and neighbors to let them know about our candidates, events, when and where to vote.
 
The more we can use technology in these communications the more we can save on postage.
