Democrats: 16,868 Compared to recent years, we are doing great in Mecklenburg County, BUT we are still trailing in by 252. Wouldn't it be horrible if some of our candidates worked for months on end to beat the long odds and close the gap against entrenched liberal incumbents only to lose by a few votes? We simply cannot let that happen. We MUST close strong, eliminate that gap and WIN in 2010. We have ALOT of work to do, and less than 150 hours to do it. Make every minute count.
