More Details from Racing Ellie

Even while you are watching our beloved Panthers this afternoon, you can help us "Race to the Polls"!!!
FIRST, I mentioned in my last note how it would be GREAT if as many friends as possible could meet me Hal Marshall Annex at the crack of dawn on Thursday, October 14th ... Polls open at 8am, and it would be GREAT if we could have a bunch of my friends ready to launch this Election Season on the right hoof.
#2 I realize some of you won't be able to make it on Thursday (and that's okay it doesn't hurt my feelings too much), BUT another BIG way you can help whether you are attending or not is to invite your friends.
On the Left side of the page (under my picture), there is a button that says "Select Guests to Invite" ... Click on that ... a box will magically pop up on your screen ... all you need to do is highlight those of your friends who you would consider 'Hardcore Conservatives' (maybe include a note) and then click the button "Send Invitations." SECOND, I also mentioned that some of you could help us with getting the word out about Race to the Polls by using my picture in your Twitter/Facebook profiles, BUT I just realized that many of you may not know how to change your profile picture!!!!
So here are some more detailed instructions....
DOWNLOADING MY PICTURE #1 CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD MY PICTURE #2 Another box will magically open ... Click SAVE. #3 Click "Desktop" and save the image to your desktop.
CHANGING YOUR FACEBOOK PROFILE PICTURE
#1 Go to to Facebook.com and log-in
#2 Click on Profile (Upper right hand corner of the screen)
#3 Under your current picture, Click "Edit My Profile"
#4 On the Left side of the screen, Click "Profile Picture"
#5 In the middle of the screen, Click "Choose File"
#6 On the right side, click to look at the files on your "Desktop"
#7 Click on "Racing Ellie Logo"
#8 It may take a few seconds to upload, but then you can click "View My Profile" on the upper right side of the screen and my BEAUTIFUL picture will be there!
#9 Your family and friends MAY wonder why you suddenly look like a Racing Elephant (or at least let's hope they wonder) ... To help explain it you may want to use this Facebook Status Update!
Yep, that's the MeckGOP's Racing Ellie in my Profile Picture. Election Season kicks off in Mecklenburg County on October 14th & 15th at the Hal Marshall Annex in Uptown Charlotte, with 15 additional early voting locations opening all over the county on October 18th - 30th (including Saturday & Sunday voting) ... Join me in Racing to the Polls this October!!!

#1 Go to to Twitter.com and log-in
#2 Click on Settings (Upper right hand corner of the screen)
#3 Beside your current picture Click "Change Picture"
#4 Click "Choose File"
#5 On the right side, click to look at the files on your "Desktop"
#6 Click on the file "Racing Ellie Logo"
#7 Then click the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen.
#8 As with Facebook, your followers MAY wonder why you suddenly look like a Racing Elephant (or at least let's hope they wonder) ... To help explain it you may want to use this Tweet!
