Candidate Spotlight
Lee Ann Patton
MeckGOP County Commission District 2
 Leadership Experience:
Lee Ann has consistently held many local leadership positions. She was a head deacon at her church, president of the singles group, Bible study leader, Sunday school teacher, leader and speaker at church retreats, and helped to found the Visiting Friends Ministry for elderly adults. Lee Ann is the secretary for and on the executive board of the By Grace Alone Ministries. She has led or played a leadership role for 21 mission trips to the Dominican Republic. She has also been the chairman of her church sports committee and has coached her Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation softball team.
Political Experience:
Lee Ann has been a member of the Republican Party for 26 years. She has also been chairman of her voter precinct in the past, and is a delegate (and has participated as such numerous times) to the county, district and state Republican Party conventions. She has volunteered for the Mecklenburg County Republican Party on numerous occasions.
Lee Ann is an active member of the CAUTION (Common Americans United to Inspire Our Nation) group and is a Tea Party activist as well.
She vows to:
- Bring Back Fiscal Responsibility
- Reduce Spending
- Lower Taxes
- Restore Integrity in Politics
- Provide True Representation to Constituents
- Help the Local Economy - Cut Small Business and Corporate Taxes
- Support Existing Immigration Laws
