MeckGOP Chairman's Corner April 15, 2010
April 15th ... Tax day is a painful reminder for most of us of the growth in the size of government in our state and country. Can this annual day of pain be turned into gain? In 2010, the answer is yes.
April 15, 2010 is also the day one-stop early voting starts for the May 4th primary. With your vote, you have a chance to send conservative candidates to the general election in November.
In addition to Republican primaries in various local, congressional and statewide races, your votes are needed in the "non-partisan" judicial races. Your votes for conservative judicial candidates will help maintain a judiciary in our county and state that will enforce, not create, the law.
Since no party affiliation is listed for the candidates on the ballot, I have attached a link to a palm card showing the Republican candidates in the contested judicial primaries.
We have had Republican judicial candidates lose primaries to Democrats because Republican voters did not know who to vote for! Please educate yourself, print a copy to take to the polls, forward to your friends and vote for our Republican candidates.
Make Tax day less painful - go early vote at the Hal Marshall Annex, 618 North College Street, and then head over to the Tea Party at 600 E. Trade Street in Uptown Charlotte (starts at 3 pm)!
