An explanation for my "mysterious disappearance" is in order because many of you have wondered what has happened to me! First, I'd like to THANK YOU for your concern since it has been several months since my last update and many of you are wondering about our National Conference and what is happening with this research and the FIRM Foundation. I am very happy to report that I have never been better and the FIRM Foundations 10 boards are now organized and moving forward. My focus the past several months has been on completing a huge project that has taken so much time that it has required that I re-schedule our spring National Book of Mormon Evidence Conference for the weekend of May 13-14 at the Tahitian Noni International Center and Gardens stadium-style auditorium in Provo, where we had a similar spring conference two years ago. More on this conference will be emailed out very soon. I will be sharing new information bearing on Lehi's ocean voyage. Some of us have been following the Phoenicia expedition; a replica 600 B.C. wooden sailing ship which recently sailed around Africa from Saudi Arabia but wound up only a couple of days away from making landfall in North America! Wait until you see the "rest of the story" about this expedition! To see the Lord's hand in this journey has been described as "inspirational.
Another example is my new research involving what may have caused the destruction around the time of Christ. What did the ancient prophets actually witness? Was it a volcanic eruption? What could account for the observed destruction in America's heartland? It has been said by the few who have seen this presentation that it is one of the most jaw-dropping to date.
Further, you'll be treated to new evidence for Book of Mormon metallurgy among the Hopewell civilization. I'll show you artifacts recovered from archaeological excavations proving their use of gold, copper, silver, lead and even iron and steel, just as emphatically stated by the prophets of the Book of Mormon. What about swords? I'll share with you accounts by the first settlers to the "Heartland" region of just such finds. What about smelting? You'll learn of the new book by William Conner in which he uncovers evidence for ancient iron and copper smelting in the Ohio River valley, and see for yourself the evidence from Hopewell mounds from which much of this evidence has come forth.
One of the most profound examples stemming from this new research is the recent Petrographic examination, using scattering electron microscopy (SEM), of a controversial stone recovered by the Smithsonian Institute in an official archaeological dig in 1889 in Tennessee. It has undergone extremely rigorous examination because of having writing carved into its surface that has now been scientifically verified and authenticated by secular non-Mormon sources to be an ancient form of Hebrew! You will be "blown away" by the translation of the stones inscription, as Glenn Beck mentioned in his TV program a couple months ago! This level of evidence is utterly unknown anywhere outside of the Heartland Model Geography. Every member of the Church should know about this finding because of its profound importance in supporting the claims of the Book of Mormon. You don't want to miss this international webinar presentation as it is the first ever recorded instance, since the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, of Hebrew language being found anywhere in the America's. The fact that is was found in a Hopewell burial mound in America's heartland and dates squarely into Book of Mormon time frames makes it one of the most profound evidences in support of the Book of Mormon that has ever been found. Are there Hopewell Parallels and Correlations with the Book of Mormon? The ancient Hopewell Mound Builder civilization shared no less than 40 known parallels and correlations to the Nephite civilization of the Book of Mormon. There has never been this level of evidence in support of the claims of the Book of Mormon, and what is most amazing is that nearly all these have come about by non-LDS secular scholarly research and findings.
How well does the Heartland Model geography correlate with the Book of Mormon? One of the most powerful indications that the Book of Mormon may have occurred in the Heartland of North America are the number of correlations with the geography passages from the text itself.

Preparing for the upcoming webinars is an easy 3 step process. There are detailed illustrated instructions you can download by clicking HERE. Step 1: Download the Face2Face (webinar provider) Viewer. You can click HERE to go directly to the download page. Type in your name and email address and hit "SUBMIT." Follow the emailed instructions.
