When I started working here at Craft-e-Corner, I was so overwhelmed by all the neat products. I immediately got a Cricut Expression and then started exploring all the cartridge options.  Soon I came to the realization that I wanted them ALL. This became a dream of mine... to own EVERY Cricut cartridge made. WOW! Wouldn't that be great?! Then I remembered I still had to pay bills and eat, and knew I needed to come up with a plan.

My idea was that I would start off by purchasing the cartridges that were discontinued. Obviously to achieve my dream goal, I would need to start with those before everyone sold out of them. The list was only 12 cartridges long.  I thought "I can handle that" and I started getting that list accomplished.

And then it happened. My boss sent me an email showing an announcement from Provo Craft containing an updated list of discontinued cartridges. 33 more cartridges are now discontinued, bringing my "buy these first" list to a total of 45 cartridges! I'm not sure if any of you are as crazy as me and want them all, but chances are there are one or more cartridges on this list that you have been eyeing up.  So now's the time to get them before they're gone! That was the sad news. The happy news is that we still have most of the discontinued cartridges in stock. However, quantities are limited, and once they're gone, they're gone. So please order the ones you'd like before we sell out. We will not be able to order any more of these cartridges!

You might recall from a previous newsletter that I was using images from my Mickey & Friends and Mickey Font cartridges to inspire a cake design. Well, the party is over, and so is the hustle and bustle of the holidays. So I thought now would be a great time to follow up with the results.
 

Look at this cake?! I was so excited. I had sent a local cake designer some images from my Mickey & Friends and Mickey Font cartridges. She used her fondant magic, and was able to create this gorgeous cake for my daughter's birthday. When Camryn first saw her cake, she said "it's perfect".  And that's exactly how I hoped her birthday would be.

And of course, I have to show off my matching decorations.I had fun making them, and got tons of compliments.

Then, to have things end on a happy note, I sent out these Minnie Mouse thank you cards. It truly was a magical birthday, and I hope this inspires you to make your next special occasion a memorable one.
