New Product Alert!!! Gypsy Clutch and Silhouette Premium Vinyl
Every time the delivery man shows up here at Craft-e-Corner, I wonder how much of my paycheck will end up going back to the company. Recently there were two items in particular that caught my eye and ended up on my must have list, so I thought I would share my excitement with you!
Let's start with the new Clutch we have for sale? I melted when I saw it come in. Ideally it's made for the Gypsy Machine. However, it could easily just be used as a clutch purse, with or without the Gypsy in it! The outside is a brown background with a colorful floral pattern, and the inside (including the inside of the pocket) is lined with pink corduroy. And what a great price! We also have the Cricut Gypsy Shoulder Bag for sale, and I feel there is a different purpose for each bag. The shoulder bag is great for crops and other occasions where you need to bring your Gypsy as well as your charger and all kinds of accessories. The Clutch would be great for short trips to appointments and such where you want to bring your Gypsy, but don't want all the extra baggage.

Cricut Gypsy Clutch Bag
Retail Price: $49.99
Our Price: $24.84
Next on the "I need" list...Premium Vinyl! This is made by Silhouette America but can be used with several different machines. It's similar to the vinyl we already know and love, but has a stronger adhesive and can withstand the elements. Therefore, it can be used indoors and OUTDOORS! Now we can do house numbers, car decals, business store fronts, seasonal window décor, and more! This was just launched over Thanksgiving weekend and I am so happy we got it in already! Premium vinyl comes in White, Black, Brown, Dark Red, Dark Pink, Leaf Green, and Frosted Glass. Check them out here

eClips Machine Highlight- - See the Video Have You Seen the eClips? See How it Works
Recently, the Customer Service Team started getting reacquainted with the eClips Machine. I just had to share a short video of the laser preview feature. The blade housing moves as if it's cutting the paper, but instead of the blade being down, the laser lights up. You watch it as it moves, and make sure it does not go off your scrap of paper or run into a spot where you've already cut something. For someone like me, who hoards pretty paper and cringes at the thought of throwing some away because of a boo-boo, this feature is a MUST! Yay eClips!
Check out the video to see how it works:

Include anything else like special papers etc. you used to complete the project as well . If you'd like you can submit a picture of yourself as the original creator (optional). The deadline for submitting a project is Monday, January 17th at midnight.*
We will then post each submitted project on our Facebook Fan Page in our photos. Then you can encourage others to visit our Facebook Fan Page from Jan 19th to Jan 26th to be inspired by what you created and vote for your project by leaving a comment. Any person can make a comment on any project they see that they like. You can comment on more than one project, but each person can only make one comment per project to count as a vote. New Year's Project Handmade New Year's Hats!
Why not start off the New Year by spending some time with your familymaking New Year's Eve party hats! I'm sure everyone will enjoy this easy and crafty idea. 1 )Start by cutting your hat shape. I used a 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock and cut out a big piece in the shape of an orange wedge
2)Wrap the paper around to form your cone shape and make sure there is an opening left at the top. 3)Place something in the opening to form your party hat topper. I used a birthday bow/ribbon that I saved from a gift my daughter got at her birthday this year. You could also use pipe cleaners, regular curling ribbon, fakeflowers.. The sky's the limit!
4)Then add your personal touch. I chose to use the Designer's Calendar Cricut Cartridge because of the clock with the 12, as well as the word "party" and the balloons and party hat shape. (There is also a drink cup with the word "cheers", and the phrase "New Years Day" that would be really cute) To finish it off, I added some ribbon with beads and sequins around the bottom. Much cuter than anything at the party store if you ask me!
Here's another neat New Year idea that would be cute with the Designer's Calendar cartridge! Try using a paper plate and make it look like a clock. Cut out the numbers 1-12 and place them around the edges of the plate. Attach some clock hands to the center with a brad and you have your own New Year's countdown clock! (You can buy clock hands at the craft store... or use pipe cleaners, paper strips, popsicle sticks.. Etc...)You could even customize your clock and make the numbers end at your child's bedtime instead of going all the way to 12. This way they can celebrate the New Year without staying up too late.
Happy New Year! ~ Bobbi Jo
