Volunteers Needed
This summer the Newport News Green Foundation will have a shared booth at the Port Warwick Summer Concert Series. The space is donated by our grant funder, CSX Corporation.
The concerts run June 1st through September 21st, every Wednesday from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. A full list of the bands playing is available here. The Foundation is in need of volunteers to run our booth. Please consider donating two hours of your time and manning our booth over the summer. Materials and training are provided. Its a great way to get out, enjoy the sunshine, and some great music. For local university students as well as supervised high school students, you can earn service hours. For more information please call our office at (757) 597-2842 or email amanda@newportnewsgreenfoundation.org. We need your help! |
