Annual Fund Campaign
The Newport News Green Foundation is currently conducting its annual fundraising campaign. Donations to the campaign are 100% tax deductible and go to fund the Foundation's mission - to promote the creation and preservation of green space throughout the City of Newport News through advocacy, acquisition, and assistance to others in order to make Newport News a more visually attractive place to live, work, and play. Green Corps Rain Barrels
The Newport News Green Foundation's Green Corps have a number of rain barrels left over from their annual fundraiser at the Fall Festival of Folklife. Barrels are approximately 55 gallons and range in price from $50-$100. Some barrels are decorated and some are plain. Barrels are available for delivery to the local area or for pickup. These rain barrels are handmade from recycled materials and are sturdier and more economical than those sold in most retail outlets. For more information email info@newportnewsgreenfoundation.org.
