 The Custard Stand Food Products crew has worked hard to get our newest product out in time for bowl chili season! Custard Stand Chili Soup With Beef And Beans is for everyone who kept begging us for a bowl chili.
Why call it "chili soup"? The FDA requires a specific beef to bean ratio for chili. We like our ratio and didn't want to tinker with a good recipe.

2,500 Sample Chili At Southern Christmas Show
Angie, Nickie and Alissa served up more than 75 pounds of chili in mid-November during two-day trip to the Southern Christmas Show in Charlotte, NC. That's why Angie (right) is a little blurry in the photo. As part of the West Virginia Country Store exhibit, Team Custard Stand sold out of all the chili they had on hand and handed out thousands of Product Request Cards. I'm a single guy and on a budget.
Any tips on how to get the most chili for my dollar?
Great question. Here are a few options for you, Mr. Single
(these work for families, too!): Thaw a 1lb container and put in ice cube trays to refreeze (one cube = one hot dog). Or thaw a 3- or 5-pounder and re-portion it into 1 lb plastic freezer bags.
Remember: You can always re-freeze thawed chili as long as it hasn't been heated on the stove or the microwave.
