Angie, Weiner, DeeHello Chili Fans!

Where did summer go? It's already August and time to think about fairs, football and school.

Dee and I took the Harleys out for a tour of West Virginia and met some great people and got some great photos (check out the Hot Dog Man outside the Snowbiz in Harrisville, WV). We'll be sharing those on the web site soon.

Alissa is back at WVUIT and has changed her major to Health Services Administration. She's learning to ride her Harley. Linsey will give New River Community & Technical College a try, and she's already put over 500 miles on her Harley! Guy's first day at WCHS is Aug 23 and he's hoping to take in a few WVU football games.

Double Dare Dog Contest

We partnered with 3WS/95.7 for the hot-dog eating contest in early July during the Nicholas County Fair.

The event got off to a roarin' start when Angie and Dee delivered the steamed dogs and buns on their Harleys. Each contestant got a plate of 5 hot dogs (sans chili) and two bottles of water.

Jeremy Zangari of Craigsville (center) won the trophy and $100 by eating 7.5 dogs in 10 minutes - and then he asked for more.

In the photo, from left: NC Fair Queen Morgan Kesecker of Summersville; Tim Cartwright of Clay; Zangari; Casey Foster of Craigsville (kneeling); Angie; and Alan Stump of Summersville. Angie and Dee gave them all CS T-shirts and Party Pack. Jeremy and Morgan's photos are up at The Custard Stand in Flatwoods.
