Double Dare Dog Contest
We partnered with 3WS/95.7 for the hot-dog eating contest in early July during the Nicholas County Fair. The event got off to a roarin' start when Angie and Dee delivered the steamed dogs and buns on their Harleys. Each contestant got a plate of 5 hot dogs (sans chili) and two bottles of water. Jeremy Zangari of Craigsville (center) won the trophy and $100 by eating 7.5 dogs in 10 minutes - and then he asked for more. In the photo, from left: NC Fair Queen Morgan Kesecker of Summersville; Tim Cartwright of Clay; Zangari; Casey Foster of Craigsville (kneeling); Angie; and Alan Stump of Summersville. Angie and Dee gave them all CS T-shirts and Party Pack. Jeremy and Morgan's photos are up at The Custard Stand in Flatwoods. Click here to watch a slideshow of the contest! |
