Sustainable Jersey has announced the availability of $200,000 in grant money for municipal sustainability projects in towns and communities throughout New Jersey.
The "Sustainable Jersey Small Grants Program", funded by the PSEG Foundation, will support thirty-two projects that leverage resources to make communities more livable, environmentally friendly, and prosperous.
The 2012 Sustainable Jersey Small Grants Program will award four $20,000 grants, eight $10,000 grants, and twenty $2,000 grants to local governments for projects like an electric vehicle charging station, school food composting centers, and community gardens.
