Remember the fun we had in the summer of 2006? The Vintage Band Music Festival staged over 40 concerts in 4 days. Well, mark your calendars because we're doing it again. August 5-8, 2010 in Northfield, Minnesota is the timeline for Vintage Band Music Festival 2010. Read on to learn more about it.

We have issued invitations to many more bands (like the Lake Wobegon Brass Band pictured on the right) and are waiting for confirmation from them. Expect the roster to double in the near future. Keep checking your inbox for updates throughout the summer.
Fundraising Has Begun
It took about $35,000 to stage the 2006 Vintage Band Music Festival. Some of that was provided by corporate sponsorships and grants, but much of the money came from the generosity of individual music lovers and concert goers. Some of them have already repeated or increased their gifts for the 2010 Festival, but we're in need of many more to do the same. Please consider a tax-deductible contribution today and send it to:

Alphorns Returning to Crazy Daze
When you're in downtown Northfield for Crazy Daze (Thursday, July 23), watch for these Minneapolis folks on the right. They'll be draggin' those Swiss Alphorns up and down Division Street and making wonderful sounds with them. They were last in town in 2006 and we're happy that they've agreed to return to promote VBMF 2010.
Can You Lend a Hand?
Putting on a show of this size requires the help of dozens of volunteers. For those of you in the greater Northfield area, how about lending a hand? We need help with managing performance venues, band hosting, dances and exhibits, merchandise sales, publicity and many more duties.
