CALL FOR COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS
Looking to give back to the community? Think you have great ideas that can help us develop and grow? The success of this league is dependent on the strength and commitment of its volunteers as well as the ideas and suggestions of those involved.
In an effort to enhance and strengthen our organization, we are looking for committed volunteers to take leadership roles in each of the below mentioned committees. The role would be a one year commitment from November 1 - October 31 the following year.
We are looking for volunteers in the following:
- Umpire & Rules Committee:
Responsible for establishing league rules and coordinating the implementatin by umpires - Registration Committee
Responsible for league registration issues - Special Events, Opening & Closing Day
Responsible for structuring opening day, closing day, the all-star game and working with the Fund Raising Committee to conduct league events. - Equipment & Uniform Committee
Responsible for managing equipment needs, storage locker and uniforms. - Fund Raising Committee:
Responsible for league fund raising efforts - Marketing/Public Relations:
Responsible for marketing the league and its events and managing league communications - Field Management, Preparation & Scheduling (also responsible for rain out decisions):
Responsible for obtaining access to and maintenance of fields, scheduling games/practices. - Volunteer Coordinator:
Responsible for coordinating and providing all "non-committee" volunteers to the above commitees on an "as needed" basis.
