18" Pin Spacing Upgrade
Reduced Gathering Chain Pin Spacing. If your Jackets max width is not over 15" we can install 18" Gathering Chain Pin Spacing, reducing Gathering Chain speed. Resulting in smoother operation, less jam-ups, and down time.
Existing Spacing is 21" changed to 18" spacing slows your chain speed by 16.5% and gives you the same output. EXAMPLE: Existing 21" Pin Spacing Chain running at 8000 copies per hour is the equivalent chain speed at 18" spacing and would be 9333 copies per hour.
Existing 24" pin spacing reduced to 18" pin spacing slows your Gathering Chain 33% and gives you the same output. EXAMPLE: Existing 24" Pin Spacing Chain running at 8000 copies per hour is the equivalent chain speed at 18" pin spacing and would be 10664 copies per hour.

Rebuilt Head Exchange Program For
Muller Martini 227 Inserters
Technology in Mailroom Automation (TMA) offers a flexible Rebuilt Head Exchange Program enabling customers a more effiecent way to extend the life of their inserting equipment without having to rebuild the entire machine.
Through this program, customers receive rebuilt heads (which they install or TMA can install) and ship the old heads back to TMA. With flexible packages available, TMA can custom fit a package to your company's specific needs.
