Hi ,

A couple of reminders:

Shinguards - Not only are they required in order for a player to play a game but they must also be worn during all practices. No shinguards, No play, No practice. This is a basic, mandatory safety item that you, as the coach, are responsible for.

School starts soon and likely some of your players may forget them. I'd suggest you keep some extras in your bag just in case.

Casts - All hard casts must be covered with padding to protect other players. The cast must be covered for all games and practices.

For games, the referee will determine if the cast is "safe" in their opinion. It is up to that referee, on that field, on that day, to make the determination. It is possible one referee would allow the player to play while another might not. This is not debatable, the referee has the final decision.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Rick Hall
