Thom with the Escondido soccer league has offered us an invitation to have a
scrimmage at Ryans Park. His original email is below.
They are training referees and are assessing them in action.
This August 22nd a few weeks before our first game.
It could be an excellent opportunity for you to get your team on a field with
a referee and see where you can improve your team.
Also for the players new to the field with a referee it will be a great
experience for them to see how it goes.
Please contact Thom directly if you are interested. It is not guaranteed that you will get a game, it all depends on what he has available.

Hey VC again!
We're going to be doing some referee training on August
22nd at Ryan Park and wanted to see if any of your teams wanted to come down
for some scrimmages between 1 & 5pm.
Probably schedule 30-40 minute games (15-20 minute
halves) to get some referees some training, instruction and assessment. Feel
free to extend an invitation to any of your teams and they can contact me
directly. As I get more teams involved, I'll send out an email when a good time
slot would be to play.
