We are excited to invite you to Dr. Diamond's third exhibition on the West Coast.

"East Meets West: The Stillpoint Paintings of John Diamond, M.D." will run from May 5 to June 30 in the beautiful setting of the Hakone Estate Gardens in Saratoga, California - the oldest surviving Japanese-style residential gardens in the Western Hemisphere. Please click here for directions.

Dr. Diamond is predominantly a healer who uses all the arts as modalities of his healing work. His meditative intention before every painting is that the viewer have their Life Energy, their healing power within, enhanced. The Stillpoint Paintings that are the focus of this exhibition reveal this deep intention and are a powerful inspiration to the embrace of life.

Stillpoints: An Introductory Guide to Haiku Painting

Dr. Diamond's powerful brushstrokes, which have been referred to as "energy swishes," resonate with many such aesthetic and spiritual ideals in Japanese art.
