Greetings!

Dr. John Diamond is thrilled to announce his first exhibit on the West Coast, in San Diego, entitled: "East Meets West: The Stillpoint Paintings of John Diamond, M.D."

Within the beautiful setting of the Japanese Friendship Garden at Balboa Park, Dr. Diamond will display a variety of art that recalls the work of the literati painters of ancient China and the nanga school of Japan.

Come and experience the graceful brushwork and exquisite balance of yin and yang - on canvas, silk scroll, ceramics, and other media.

We are also very excited to announce the launch of Dr. Diamond's latest book, My Painting Guidance: Su Shih, Wang Wei, & the Nanga. Dr. Diamond has been inspired to share with us a very personal account of what, and who, moves him in creating his paintings. A jewel among his writings, the book is not only compelling in its own right, but also offers a profoundly original statement about the very nature of the creative process.

"I have for quite some time felt very strongly that my painting is guided. It always seemed not that I was doing it, but that it was being done through me."  

Dr. John Diamond - Artist, Painter, Photographer, Healer - is a pioneering figure in alternative and holistic medicine. He is the founder of the Institute for Music and Health, and the Institute for Life Energy and Creativity.
