ACLU of GA
Dear ACLU of Georgia Supporter,

I would like to invite you to our first "By the People Lobby Day" of the 2012 legislative session.  At Lobby Day, our staff and dedicated volunteers will give you advice on how to talk to legislators, discuss any bills that impact your civil liberties and guide you on how you can best help pass or stop legislation.  We will even walk you over to the State Capitol and assist you as you meet with your legislators.

Our first Lobby Day will take place this Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at 9 am in Room 605 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building, 18 Capitol Square Southwest, Atlanta, GA 30334, located across the street from the south end of the State Capitol.

Nearby parking is available in the Pete Hackney parking deck, located at the corner of Jesse Hill Jr. Drive and Decatur Street, and the Underground Atlanta parking deck, located two blocks west of the Capitol on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.  The closest MARTA station is the Georgia State Station located in the Sloppy Floyd/Twin Towers complex.

As you know, freedom cannot protect itself.  Your presence is essential to ensuring a government that is accountable to its People and to the Constitution.

Thank you for participating in this worthwhile endeavor.

Sincerely,

Chad Brock
