Just a year and a half ago, we all had high hopes that by now, the detention camp at Guantanamo and our era of state sanctioned torture would have become just an embarrassing part of our national history.  Unfortunately, Guantanamo has not faded into the past and as we learn more and more, we are just beginning to understand what terrible things were done in our name.  

 

The American Civil Liberties Union has renewed its call for the Obama administration to hold Bush-era government officials accountable for the torture and abuse of detainees in U.S. custody. 

It is important to keep Guantanamo in the public eye and in the public conversation.  Please join us as we present....
