"Youcef is Free!"
The man pictured above is Youcef (Joseph) Nadarkani.
He had been sentenced to death in Iran.
His crime? Converting from Islam to Jesus Christ and being a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Youcef had been offered leniency if he renounced Jesus Christ. But Youcef stood firm in his faith!
In February we joined Christians around the world praying for Youcef. Earlier this month Youcef was acquitted and released from prison for time served!
Pastor Youcef is a husband and father of two young children. He was one of thousands of Christians around the world who face death sentences because of their faith in Jesus Christ.
We praise God for this amazing turn of events for Pastor Youcef. Let us continue to pray for the many others around the world who are under persecution for their faith in Jesus.

At this point, it looks like November 10th might be the date. Please click here and let Pastor Wes know if you'd like to be part of this. |

Children's Ministry
In the coming months we will be taking important steps forward in building our Children's Ministry and reaching out to new children. To have meaningful and effective ministry to these young lives, we need to have passionate and loving children's workers--people who love kids and care deeply about their lives and relationship with God. Please give prayerful consideration if you would be willing to give of yourself and your time to make a lifelong difference! Watch in the coming weeks for ways of becoming involved in this vital ministry. Respond as God leads you.

Church Equipment Damaged
During the past month we have discovered the extent of damage that church equipment suffered as a result of a lightning storm in August. The sound mixer in the main Sanctuary no longer functions as well as the Church Office fax machine and printer. Also, the office computer that Ming uses does not work properly. These are in addition to the Fellowship Hall sound board and computer as well as our alarm system. We have initiated an insurance claim for this damages. Please pray for this process.
