The "4-14 Window"
The 4/14 Window refers to young people from age four to fourteen years old. Of all age groups, this group is highly open and receptive to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
However, If the seeds of truth are not planted and nourished during these important years, the likelihood of commitment to Christ plummets dramatically in the following years. So it is vital to reach these young people during these years of openness and spiritual exploration.
This is the first Vacation Bible School we've had in three years and the response has been gratifying. At Grace Community Church we have VBS and are committed to new initiatives to build our ministry to these 4-14 young people simply because they need Jesus!
Summer camps are just around the corner. Bible Quizzing for this age group is on the agenda. We are actively seeking to begin new Sunday School classes. A comprehensive evangelism and discipleship ministry for the 4-14 youth is currently being planned. Please be in prayer and personal assessment how you could participate in these ministries--the results will be worth your investment!
Jesus said some "seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown." When he said this, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

VBS Closing Celebration
 We've had an amazing first 2 days of Sky VBS! Great response with wonderful kids singing and doing a lot of different things while praising the name of Jesus! The fun doesn't stop on Friday! On Sunday, we will celebrate the week's proceedings during the church service! We'll be singing songs (with motions), seeing skits and experiencing the stories! After the service, we will have a cookout to celebrate and a surprise for one of the workers. Join us at 10:45 for a great celebration! |

Seeking Prayer Partners
We are currently planning a variety of new ministry initiatives for Grace Community Church and the surrounding communities. The pastors and leadership of the Church firmly believe that if any of these are to bear fruit, they must be saturated in prayer by people who love God, love His Church and believe in the power of prayer. We are currently seeking people who would receive updates about specific prayer needs for new and continuing ministry initiatives.
We are seeking and praying for 50 people who would commit to being one of these prayer partners. In previous years, it has been difficult to keep our prayer partners up-to-date with these specific prayer foci, but now we have the means technologically to keep out prayer partners informed. If you love God, know Christ, love His Church and would be willing to be one of these prayer partners, please respond to Pastor Wes and let him know at RWTink01@gmail.com.

Could You Help with Meals?
Some families within our congregation will be going through great challenges in the weeks ahead, for example, Bob O. will be having open-heart surgery. Together, we could be a great help by providing meals. Kids and Teen News
Hey People! It's Wednesday! Here's what's going on today!
We've been having a good time so far at VBS! It's not too late to sign up for VBS! We still have 3 days of Flying High Fun! You can still register online here! Please pray for our children for our VBS this week. We know that the Spirit of God will sweep over these kids and we will have a blast in Him!
There is no Youth/Young Adults group this week, due to VBS. |
Dinner for Two Through Facebook
 Grace Community Church recently added a Facebook page to our publicity initiatives. | Summer Church Finances
If you are able to give some extra in tithes and offerings during these summer months, that will help to ensure that that we don't begin Fall ministry with financial shortfall. Great things are happening at Grace Community Church and as we keep up with these important needs, we will see even more good things happen! District Jr./Sr. High Camp
Coming up in a few weeks is our District Summer Camps and we have a few students still thinking about attending. The main deterrent for our students are funds. Summer camp is a time in where our students can freely worship and praise our God in a brand new atmosphere! If you are able and willing to help sponsor a student to camp this summer, Every student that would like to go to camp should be able to! If you can sponsor a student, please label your donation on the offering envelope Teen Camp 2012 or contact Pastor Matt!
