What a weekend!
This past weekend, three young adults and I traveled to Camp Hebron in Halifax, PA for the first Young Adults Retreat. The camp location was beautiful, the food was great, but the best part of the weekend was that the Holy Spirit just came in and rested with us!
The theme of the weekend was "SWAG" or Saved With Amazing Grace. The grace that we receive from God is life changing! Our speaker left some huge dents in my spirit, getting me back to the basics. The biggest thing for me was this "If you come to really understand how much God loves you, it will change your life." This weekend it just re-clicked, "Man, God loves me!" I was just so floored! God chooses to dwell in my heart and in my life and all I have to do is say "Here am I, take and use me!"
And you know, sometimes we go through our daily grind, the routine that we have planned out everyday and forget that simple fact. God love you. God, who created the heavens and the earth, the stars in the sky, everything in this world and He chooses to love US! It's so humbling to know that we don't have to attempt to earn His love, or pay anything for His acceptance. You can't earn it. The Gift of God comes freely! Incredible, isn't it? |

"Why?" 
This Sunday we continue in the sermon series: "Why?" Why do Christians hold the perspectives that they hold on particular issues? Pastor Wes will lead us in a biblical study on sanctity of human life. Again, you're welcome to text Pastor Wes with your thoughts in advance at 609-226-9615. This is the place where you can submit your prayer requests, become aware of the requests of others and also let others know that you are praying for them. Ming and Joyce Mission Trip Tomorrow
Ming and Joyce will be leaving Thursday for their two-month trip that will have them involved in mission work in Taiwan and China. Here are the things that they have asked for us to join them in prayer for:
The entire mission team that Ming and Joyce will be joining with "that
1. we will only rely on the word of God no matter the circumstances are;
2. we will always be lead by the Spirit;
3. we will put on the armor of God everyday;
4. the blood of Jesus protect and we will be invisible before the enemy;
5. our physical and spiritual stamina - lots of walking;
6. The gospel seeds will be planted wherever we go.
7. His will be done on this trip."

RockSolid Men's Cookout on Tuesday
Our final men's gathering for the season will a cookout at Pastor Wes and Sarah's home on Tuesday, July 3. Come anytime after 6:30. If possible, bring a folding lawn/beach chair. Also bring some food to share if you are able. Good evening of fellowship as we break for the summer.

What a time in worship this weekend! Ignited really set a blaze of praise in this place! This just starts some of the great things that we are going to be involved in this summer!

New Sunday School Topic for Women
"Seeking God's Renewal for Your Mind, Body and Soul"
The summer Sunday School series for women is underway, great responses from those who made the first Sunday! If you missed the first session, you can still easily join in! The series features the Women of Faith DVD collection which includes encouraging messages from speakers such as Patsy Clairmont, Sheila Walsh, and Luci Swindoll. Nutrition and healthy-living tips are being shared as well. Blessing for you!

| Summer Church Finances
Summer is often a challenging time financially for the Church. Income tends to go down, but the costs actually go up due to additional ministries, lawn care, electrical costs, etc. Last summer the Church income was almost $6000 less than the Church costs. It took us until Christmas to catch up. Part of this happens if people go on vacation and forget to continue tithes and offerings while they are away. In fact, in just the past 3 weeks we have already begun to see the "summer downturn" in giving.
This summer, if we all commit to regular tithing and offerings even while we go away, we can avoid this shortfall. Also, if you are in a position to do something extra, that will help ensure that that we won't begin the Fall ministry period with financial hardship. Together we can see the momentum continue forward. Always remember, as we honor God with faithfulness, He will honor us and meet our every need! Thank you!

 On July 7th starting at 9a, all of the volunteers and workers for our Vacation Bible School will be in training mode! Did you know our VBS is in less than 30 days??? Trip to New York City
Amy Weyna is planning aSaturday tour to NYC for July 28. Traveling by train, it will be an all-day event with tour, lunch and dinner in the city. Please contact Amy here to get additional info and to sign up. |
District Jr./Sr. High Camp
Coming up in a few weeks is our District Summer Camps and we have a few students still thinking about attending. The main deterrent for our students are funds. Summer camp is a time in where our students can freely worship and praise our God in a brand new atmosphere! If you are able and willing to help sponsor a student to camp this summer, Every student that would like to go to camp should be able to! If you can sponsor a student, please label your donation on the offering envelope Teen Camp 2012 or contact Pastor Matt!
