From Pastor Wes:

Can you believe it?

Here we are at January 18 in New Jersey and no significant snow so far this year!

Everyone I talk to about the weather says that this lack of snow is not what they expected this winter.  Usually they follow it up with the expectation that we are going to get hammered before long.

Expectations.

Based upon our experiences of life we bring expectations to all parts of our life.  Many times it happens just as we expect.  Sometimes we are truly shocked.

David, the shepherd king says "In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation."

(Psalm 5:3)

What a great attitude toward God.

God listens.

God hears us.

We wait to see what God is going to do.

Sometimes I'm tempted to think that God hasn't heard this prayer, or that prayer.

But then I'm reminded that our Heavenly Father knows our need before we ask Him and He has shown so many ways that He does hear.

So let us wait in expectation for what He is going to do!

 God Bless YOU today!

SPRING RUMMAGE SALE:
Pastor Matt is doing a great job with the youth, there is real ministry momentum among our young people.  We have a variety of great things planned for our them in 2012 that will build them spiritually---weekly Bible study, Bible quizzing, VBS, summer camps, Festival of Life, and a variety of others.  To help fund the ministries for our youth, we will be holding a rummage sale in the Spring.  Any and all items that you can collect, put aside and donate for this sale would be deeply appreciated.  Together, we will do something amazing for our youth and for our community!
Church Choir and Music Ministry
The Church Choir will be taking some time off.  Thank you to Paul Lai and all members of the choir who have so greatly blessed the church in music and spirit!  From now through the summer, we are invite and encourage music specials-solos, duets, trios or other variations that would be a blessing to our services.  Please speak with Paul Lai if you would be willing to share your musical gifts in worship services.
