From Pastor Wes:
This past week Sarah and I were at a Christmas store in Syracuse, NY. The place was packed with eager and passionate shoppers looking for great deals on Christmas decorations. I heard that Monday of this week was the largest cyber-sales day since the internet came into existence--again, because of the approach of Christmas Day. Isn't it remarkable that in such a secularized society as ours, that the birth of a baby 2000 years ago makes such a great difference? In fact, companies across the nation depend on the "Christmas rush" to be financially secure for the year. The birth of Jesus Christ makes a difference! But the real difference for which He came was not for shopping or economies, but for the hearts and lives of people everywhere--vastly more important than the bottom line of sales! The truth will always remain: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." (John 3:16-17) God Bless YOU today, --Pastor Wes |

A Name That Reflects the Mission
This Church has been known traditionally as the "Trenton First Church of the Nazarene." However, it is now more than 40 years since we relocated from the City of Trenton to the current location in Hopewell Township. Due to ongoing confusion about our location, we are initiating a process to select a name for the Church that would be more reflective of our location and ministry. From now until December 31th, you are welcome to submit suggestions for a new name. You can email your suggestions to RWTink@aol.com or put your suggestions in the designated box at Church. The name must include the words "Church of the Nazarene." In January, the Church Board will select two names. Then these will be put to a vote of the full and active Members on January 29th during the Annual Church Meeting. Everyone is invited to participate in the process! Yours might be the one!
