From Pastor Wes:
Thanksgiving Day 2011! The Bible says "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thess 5:18). As disciples of Jesus Christ, we consistently seek God's will for our lives. Part of His will for us is constant and will fit every circumstance of life. For example, we are always to live with love, integrity and holiness. But also there are new things He shows us each day--applying that love, integrity and holiness to new and varying situations. However, it is God's will for us to "give thanks in all circumstances"--in other words, that in all the situations of life we can give thanks for Jesus Christ, for our salvation, for true life and for the many ways in which He answers our need. This Thanksgiving, praise God that because of Jesus Christ we can be thankful every day! God Bless YOU today, --Pastor Wes |

From Pastor Matt
Hey everyone! This past weekend (November 18-19) I attended the Philadelphia District's Festival of Life at Fairview Village Church of the Nazarene. "FOL" as it's commonly known, is a youth competition where teens from all over the District come to share their talents in a variety of events. Poetry, Volleyball, Dance, Math and Science, Chess and my favorite, bands, choirs and vocal solos! The best part: they were using their talents for the glory of God! (Check out 1 Peter 4:10) It was amazing to see more than 150 teens on their feet praising the Lord during a praise and worship session too! This is one of the many events that we will be a part of in the next year and years to come. Now, I wonder if there any children's or teen bible quizzers out there...More details to come! God bless!
