WSB Clouds

Dear Friends:

The momentum is building--once more. People in cities across the country are signing on to Wear Sky Blue during Community Healing Days 2011, October 14, 15, and 16. They are responding enthusiastically again to Dr. Maya Angelou's call to take a stand for emancipation from the toxic ideas of black inferiority and white superiority.

Thanks to you, a growing number of black people will be wearing the color sky blue during Community Healing Days to show our collective commitment to moving beyond the pain of the blues to the sky blue of unlimited possibilities!

Yes, the movement is building. And we are dreaming of the day when an overwhelming majority of black people in the United States and around the world are proudly rocking sky blue as a sign of our shared determination to see ourselves in a whole new light!
