Brundibár is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy the beauty of live performance and hear directly from a Holocaust survivor.   Ela Weissberger played the role of the "Cat" 55 times in the Terezín concentration camp.   
 
Buy your tickets today and share this wonderful experience with your entire family.  Brundibár is a heartwarming children's opera by Hans Krása and Adolf Hoffmeister featuring a young brother and sister who are trying to care for their sick mother.   They soon encounter the town bully, Brundibár.  Alone the children are scared and dejected, but soon are aided by a sparrow, a dog and a cat that help them mobilize the town's children, and together they triumph over the bad guy.
 
A short presentation including Ela Weissberger will precede the performance.  Brundibár, the opera, runs approximately 35 minutes without intermission.
