"Loved it!" Exclaims the Fat Lady
Omaha, NE - October 16, 2008
Opera Omaha's production of The Pirates
of Penzance, which opened last night at the Orpheum Theater, delighted the
Fat Lady and fellow audience members.
"Everyone I talked to agreed with me - this was the best Pirates of Penzance ever!" states the Fat Lady. "Wonderful comic timing,
plush and beautiful voices and of course the very handsome PK (Pirate King)...I
can't wait to see it again on Friday and Sunday."
"We're thrilled with the reactions to the show last night,"
states Kelly Blice, Director of
Marketing.
The Omaha World Herald proclaimed -
"The terrific The Pirates of Penzance that opened Wednesday... was by the book, meaning it's a thoroughly charming
period piece."
Lorraine Boyd of the Daily Record called the show -
"SO fun!"
"If you haven't already purchased your tickets, we encourage
you to order now," continues Ms. Blice.
"While we still have good seats in all pricing levels, there are only
two more performances."
