Opera Omaha Reveals Text of Pirate's Potential Ransom Note

Omaha, NE - October 2, 2008

Seeking assistance from the community, Opera Omaha has decided to reveal an excerpt from the note left by the infamous Pirates of Penzance.

The Pirates allegedly invaded the Opera Omaha office late Tuesday night and
absconded with something. "We are not sure if the note is referring to our Metro
Area Treasure Map [click here] or if it is something more sinister," comments
John Wehrle, General Director.

"Honestly, the text of the note is a bit odd and we're still not sure what was
taken," stated Kelly Blice, Director of Marketing.  "After the initial report of the
incident, we received several encouraging messages from patrons.  We are now
inviting members of our community to help us decipher the message."

"Our legal council has advised us to continue promoting the show which runs
Oct 15, 17 and 19 at the Orpheum and wait for the Pirate's next step.  Until then
we will bravely man our posts."

For those brave enough, the Box Office remains open.
